I never liked their engines but I hate to see them go under, especially for the workers.

Their assets are being purchased by KPS and the steel workers uniion is working with them to create a new union contract for after the new company emerges from bankruptcy. B&S financials have been a mess for some time. Briggs was losing money and burdened by large debts when the economic downturn caused by the coronavirus pandemic hit.
