Funny how you start getting out and detecting beaches again and the sharks start amassing. BE CAREFUL!!!

Pfft.
It's an abnormal week here if there ISN'T sharks massing at the beaches. A poor bloke got chomped a month back swiming 30m off shore by a 4.5m white pointer. If your times up it's up.

As long as you're vaccinated and wear a mask they will leave you alone.

No joke Tom. I see tons of Cali tags in my part of Fl. My friend who owns a real estate company can't keep enough houses to sell to Californians and New Yorkers. They pay way over asking price too! So no haggling to get a price cut around these parts. You may need some gold coins to sweeten the deal?

It isn't just 1715 fleet. It's all the fleets Some ships were held together with wood pegs and a wedge like a hammer head. Wood peg the size of a small plunger handle

haha, my wife and I are looking to retire, after 35 yrs. in my business. And we've heard the same sentiments from some realtors here. They say they are selling homes of long-time-Californians, and the lament is just as you say :

People tired of CA liberal politics (hope that's ok to say here), and moving to other states. Part of it might also be strictly a financial thing (as opposed to cultural shift thing). Because a person can sell a so-so house here for $600k, and buy a MANSION in some other states with that. And still have $100k to $200k left over.

Crazy.

Sometimes it's the same thing. When I lived in the Carolinas 20 years ago we had new englanders (nice way of saying it 😁 ) moving there. After the constant bitching about us not having all their conveniences I asked why they all moved south. He said his house taxes were $20k and his sister's $30k. I pointed out things were just fine the way they are and this is why our taxes were low.
