In the afternoon i went to the park where i found a silver quarter a couple months ago. I wasn't particular and dug just about all the signals.
Mostly junk but i did get one perfect signal. It rang up 90 on the simplex from every direction.
Never 89 or 91, strictly 90.
Dug it up and it was a quarter and i thought at first it was silver and i could make out 19?6. But when i cleaned it up i saw it was 1996.
Went back tonight and decided to do some serious discrimination. Notched out every thing below 65.
I soon stopped digging the 65's as they were all modern pennies.
Another nice signal gave me another 1996 quarter.
And i found this shiny skull and cute little frog.
So no real treasure but it was a fun hunt.
