not sure it boils water.....

but Sterno is simple and found just about everywhere.

little one and two burner stoves fold flat for storage and transport.

I make my own out of a couple beer cans, super light weight snd works awesome. Plenty of designs online. I also made a windscreen/potstand out of old metal foldgers coffee can that iy all packs into

I had one years ago. Didn't think it was very efficient.

Just something to take fishing, maybe out 2 nights max.

Was thinking alcohol stove because alcohol or HEET it is readily available.

Stick burner gas stove because wood is everywhere, but needs to be dry.

Heat tabs because i have a ton. Use then in my canteen cupstove, but that stove is too small

My dad uses a little rocket stove someone gave us for a gift exchange. We go camping in the winter, so it's a game changer!

I suggest you look into Mountain Safety Research (MSR) burners. I have had one for a long time. It is very efficient, small, light weight and screws into standard aluminum backpacking fuel flasks. Sounds like a little jet engine and heats water fast from snow. The one I have uses white gas. I got it in Denver CO at the old Gart Brothers outdoors store for $50. The REI outdoors chain carries all sorts of backpacking stuff although they can be a bit pricey. They have other makes as well.

When I was doing the kayak camping I had the MSR Whisperlite international. It was small light and put out a lot of heat. We were on Isle Royale for seven days and it took just under one quart of white gas the whole time.

Thanks everyone.

Ended up getting a ohuhu twig burner.

Gave it a test.

Works very, very well.

A little large, but lite.
