Old toy car or just a crusty newer one?

This is about the size of a Hot Wheel car. Do you think this is old/antique or just a crust modern toy?

(Update. It’s a Dinky 151 Triumph 1800 from the 1950s, a UK toy (found in the US). Pretty cool.)

I'd say it's an old one. Someone will come along soon that can tell you if it's a Tootsie or some other brand...

looks pretty old to me, any pictures of the bottom? im not a toy car expert, but the difference of a screw in bottom vs rivet might give you some better date range.
 
My not very valuable opinion is that it's newer, at least 1960s/70s. Old Tootsies, Hubleys etc were one hunk of metal that the wheels/axles attached to. Having a body attached to a "chassis" with the wheels was a Matchbox/Hot Wheels era thing. Size would help, older cars (1950s/back) were generally larger scale than Hot Wheels etc.
