Hit a spot that I’ve been to a few times now and fields had just been hayed so the conditions were perfect for swinging. The house was built in the 1850’s according to the owner but there was definitely something there before that. The ground here is loaded with trash so solid high tones are the only signals I really have been going after. Long story short I ended up with 3 colonial coppers, all of which are in rough shape but look like King George 2. Then I got a surprise 30 on the equinox and figured it was probably going to be a can or something and there he was. A 1945 Washington quarter in fairly good shape. That is only my third silver quarter ever but that makes 82 coppers in my four years of detecting. I’ll have to go back and dig some of the mid tones because there may be some cool relics there. Happy hunting everyone
