I find this craftsmanship beautiful.
I could watch an engraver do this for hours.
Almost too beautiful to ever put it to use.
Years ago there was a gentleman here that engraved...

I love ornate engraving. Always wanted to learn how but have very little artistic talent. I could look all day at the old English and European firearms. Definitely an art. Thanks for sharing. Mark
KT wishes He had a Royal Engraver as He has a plain Jane stainless steel pistol, and now sees the potential it would have as a work of art! The carving on the wood grip is also very nice and the quality of that wood is excellent too! Bet it never goes to the firing range!
