I found it next to an American Legion post that has about 6 acres and contains an old 1800's brick home. Used to be a girls home from the early 60's until the late 70's when the Legion bought it. Taking petejc there on Monday after the rain tomorrow for the initial hunt.
FYI, 1886 is a key date--#3 scarcest behind 1885 (#2) and 1912 S (#1). Well, technically the 1913 is the rarest, but there are only a few known to exist. Yours look like an 1886 or an 1896. Have you tried soaking it in distilled water? The date should be easier to read when wet. Nice find!
