Help me with this BUTTON!

Having trouble identifying this button. Found it on a farm in Rhode Island. There looks like there was a design on the flat side but can’t make it out. The pictures are under my magnifying glass. Please help!!

See if you can clean the back a little better and then read the backmark for us. With the backmark we might be able to identify the maker. Most flat buttons were made between 1790s to the 1840s. Around 1820 the U.S. had the technology to make them. Before that they were mostly imported form England. After the 1840s new methods and materials were used to make buttons. So around the 1840s they started falling our of favor.
