It's on it all the time. White gold rings is a perfect example.
 
not much physical supply, no derivatives to speak of and nobody running to it for safety.... so its " allowed " to rise as it's no threat to the usd

Hey, I'm in fifth grade, chill it with the atomic number stuff! :laughing: I went on wiki today and it's pretty intresting! Wonder what it would ring up as.

It is frequently used to plate sterling silver rings etc as it is harder that sterling silver and allows them to last longer./ Some sellers call the ones that are plated Jewelry grade.
