In Memory Of
Well, it snowed earlier today but the big stuff is yet to come.
5-8 inches they say, so I don't know when it will all melt and I will see some grass again.
Got out yesterday and a little today, not a whole lot but some things and at least I got some digging in, probably at least a week or more before I get to do it again.
First hunt at a little park in an area I don't get to much, but from what I see I need to return.
Several quarters is nice, the 4 nickels is more interesting.
Not much hunting going on here, the chance of decent size gold that would come in as a nickel signal is good.
Today I went back to my high school parking lot with the grassy islands.
Lots of clad and silver rings came out of here so far, but no gold.
I know there is some here, I just have to find it.
Still a million signals I have not dug yet, so I keep trying.
Before the cold got to me I found this.
Quarters, dimes, pennies, some sort of little iron man, a blank ID plate and a piece of bling I sure wish was real.
Also a plastic Vegas ID tag that says Samuel on the other side.
That was an eyeball find.
I got out, I swung, I dug, I found some battery money...now I wait.
Spring better get here soon.
