Taking a detecting pack trip into the Mountains tomorrow. All told the pack weighs 40 lbs. 2.5 miles as the crow flies with severe terrain and steep elevation change. Hope it’s worth it!

40 pound pack is heavy unless you have worked up to that weight and I would carry the MD up and down and not across. I'd even take it apart.

What’s 30% of nothing? I’ll gladly give you 30% of my muscle cramps! I was very disappointed to say the least. So remote. Found the site but very few high conductors. The coolest thing I found was this piece of hand hewn log used on one of the cabins. The site dates to 1860’s early 1870’s.
