Got quite a bit this month. Started off a bit slow, was really doubting I'd end up with this much stuff. Was very pleased with finding 4 gold rings this time around. I mean they were not like $1.00 rings but still well worth what I paid for them. The B ring is 10kt and was only $20, the blue zircon (not zirconia) was $100 the opal and emerald ring was $20 and the class ring was $35. It sounds like a lot of money but not really when considering what they ask for the new stuff. A lady on facebook market place was selling stuff for dirt cheap..I just couldn't get first dibs on it. A lot of mens gold rings for mostly $50. Somebody made out REAL well. Oh well maybe next time. Lots of sterling..the necklace that weighs so much was a mere $2.00. The group of earrings, 3 of those are 14 k. The small one is a champagne diamond, ugly if you ask me..but gold is gold. Pearls are 10k. Heading back out tomorrow for the last day of July but I never have any luck on Sat. Husband was down in the back or we would have headed out today. Therapy for upper back has come A LONG way. Almost completely recovered, I'd say 98%. I do my exercises at home on my off days, I DO NOT want to go backwards. So hoping by fall I'll be swinging that coil again...šŸ˜

Quite a haul you got there, congrats. Hope your recovery continues to go well so you can get your coil to the soil again.

Its coming along real well and I do believe by time the weather cools down I'll be able to start detecting. Seems as though I've had one injury after another...but I refuse to go down without "swinging" the coil again!!

I'm not exactly sure why I do this all the time because I very rarely sell any of it. I'm gonna have to spread all this out so as you all can see how much stuff can be found. It's mind blowing. I've tried selling on FB marketplace, gosh what a joke, everyone wants to give you nothing, but expect you to deliver it too. I did take some of my metal detecting gold to have a pendant/necklace made out of it. I used my own wax design and the jeweler cast it for me. It's my 31st wedding anniversary present from the hubs. Haven't got it back yet but I'll be sure to let you all see it when I do. Stay safe everyone...

Great finds, this is the time of year to be getting out and buying!
I am currently visiting up in new england, i have been hitting yard sales, estate sales, book sales and the recycling centers at several town transfer stations (dumps). It's amazing the stuff people throw away!
My first scavenging trip was helping my dad bring stuff to the dump, hit the free room up for nice looking books, scored some goodies for sure, one of the best sells for $170 on amazon.
Keep at it, the stuff is out there!

Thanks Zee...I wouldn't't know a pricey book if I got hit in the head with it..lol. Glad to see you are saving stuff, people today are such a throw away generation, really sad. So much better stuff out there that people throw out vs. the garbage they make today.....

Yeah its fun but I'm thinking I need to extend my search area. I was in one of my go-to spots and they just put out the jewelry about 5 minutes before I got there. So I missed out on some stuff. A lady called out to her husband " I found something good". I'm like really? Shut your frigging mouth. And he comes along" is it silver?" Its like grow a brain already. The more you run your mouth the more likely they will start checking the jewelry more closely. I'm getting closer everyday to being recovered completely. Still will have to do exercises to keep it at bay, but at least I know what to do. Already started back jogging...now THERE'S a site LOL. But that will get back to normal, maybe take a bit of time but that's okay..

Yup, you need to have a good poker face sometimes at sales.
I went out yesterday, hit up the recycling center, got a few more decently priced books for selling on amazon. Leaving there we hit a small yardsale, got my mom a ziplock bag FULL of the small Wade figures for $5. Every single one of them is worth more than that...
