Went out to old building ruins today. Map from 1850 identified it as S.H. (schoolhouse?) Too much trash in the area but found this 1839 large cent, oldest find for this novice! Also hit a state park nearby and found rifle cases and shotgun headstamp. Don't know what the bottle neck with wire is but looked cool.

congrats on the LC ! The top is from a 'Hutchinson' bottle only used for about 15 years, roughly 1885 to 1900
