Green Tubular Bottle

Found in the creek yesterday. (picture says 2021, because i never set the date.) I figured out from the bottom codes it is Owens Indiana, 1938. Looks like an Alka Seltzer bottle except for the color, so figuring it was for some type of tablets. I googled everything concerning vintage green bottles and cannot find anything similar. Would love to know what the bottle was used for.

Penny, I kinda think pills also. Either that or some kind of small bug repellant. Hard to say.

Thanks Scoundrel for that catalog link. I looked at it and will look at it some more. It has a lot of examples and i recognize some of them.
