Lots of coins today -- $1.97 in American money (6 quarters, 3 dimes, 1 nickel, 8 zinc pennies and 4 copper pennies). And then I found a $10 Mexican coin (Diez Pesos/ Estados Unidos Mexicanos). The year on this coin is 2018.
I also found one of the mood rings that is supposed to change colors but of course that will never happen since it's been in the ground. And then I had a heart stopper thought I had found what I would call a lawn mower fatality! At first sight I thought it was only a half of a ring but it obviously came off of something else and it is definitely just BLING!
It is definitely not a ring because on each side at the bottom edge are two holes like it might have been attached to something, what I don't know!?! But it sure had me going for a moment. The bottom edge on each side does not appear to be cut and besides if a lawn mower had done it the top part would have been damaged too.
And of course you know I have to have the requisite zipper pulls from the playground. I got lucky today -- I got two!
Today's hunt was close to two and a half hours it was nice and cool and breezy out and I just couldn't stop. This was a fun hunt and I'll be getting out again now that the weather is trying to be cooler. We had a good rain last night and part of this morning so it made the ground just right to dig! Can't wait to get out again!
