Another 5 hour hunt and 5 miles of walking. I had to really work for these bottles. Most were eyeballed. The water was very cloudy due to heavy rains the day before. The IV drip bottle made it all worthwhile. I was just talking to somebody about those the other day. Funny how things work out sometimes. Enjoy the pics.

Great finds, love blue glass too. What's the one with the beer bottle neck and sphere bottom? Never seen that shape.

Hard to say. Pretty modern. Maybe wine or some kind of dressing.

Modern or not, pretty cool.

It is. But when I started finding much older stuff I found it hard to appreciate the more recent machine made screwtop bottles. I love the old bottles that are imperfect and crudely made, full of bubbles. Glass so thick and dark that you can barely see through it when you hold it up to the sun.

Been through the same emotions. Hit a 1600s German camp, got coined, and nothing has been the same since 😅

Agree. Sauce, condiment or similar. Never saw one quite like that one though.

You are finding some cool glass, definately some nice old ones there. More than what I'm finding right now. Been busy on other things lately but seeing your pics makes me want to go hit a dump or two.
