Thanks Steve. After this many years of detecting, one hopes to have learned a few things about the hobby. However, there is still always a certain amount of luck involved.

I found an old school from the 1800's today, and two old "camps" where kids camped for the last 100 years.

Found a 3rd site, and they said some other MD'er was there before, and damaged stuff. Sooo , they won't allow anyone at that location.

Sounds like promising sites, especially the two old camps. I hunted an old Boy Scout Camping site, and found many, many good finds.
