Found this today where there was Civil War activity. It's my first cuff and Federal button. It's pretty beat up but I'll take it. Found with my new Legend.

Great find, Congrats ! I live & hunt mostly in the woods around here, the biggest National Guard Place in the U.S. So "stumble across " lots of metal stuff, from WWI 1 and WW. 2, so some places are alot of fun to dig. Not so many buttons, but got to look around ? You will find a good place.!!! :sunny:

The back has a folded shank with the lettering blocked out due to dirt and crud.
