With the temps in the mid 30's I headed out to the beach with the pup for one last hurrah - Beach for me is a 70 mile round trip so I don't often go on a whim, and have already been up and down this beach, but you always have that feeling that there is still something there.

Found this beauty in some crusty, semi frozen sand, rang up a rock solid 40 on me Ace 400. Was barely buried, when I saw the glint of gold and picked it up it was still encased in sand and I thought it was one of those mini gold colored bottle caps for the little liquor bottles, I hate those things.

Anyhow turned out to be a ring, looks like a double stacked ring. Hallmark I can swear I see a 21, hard to even tell which way is up. My buddy said he saw an archer and a bow, I sure don't see it. The rock failed the diamond test, a rock this large is almost too good to be true, but who knows, its one of those cheap testers so I got to take it to a shop to get checked out.

If anyone can make heads or tails out of the hallmark, let me know, almost looks like Arabic scrawl to me.

Looks like it says GABAK21 - The pic next to my dog is a good one but its upside down there, the one right side up is a bit blurry

Can you get a more focused picture of the hallmark?

BTW- I would have a tough time deciding to hunt, or play with that adorable pup :)

Really tough to get a decent shot of this, now I think it says GABAR21.

Pup is all about play, entering the peak of teething and chewing everything in sight. Beach is a good diversion for him, not too much trouble he can get into there. He loves to munch crayfish, 100's of corpses laying around that even the seagulls don't eat [probably because they are pretty much just shells, they already ate the flesh], tried to stop him at first but it was impossible, every time I'd turn around he'd be crunching on another one so I figured they wouldn't harm him, alot of dog chow has fish ingredients.

He managed to filch and eat half a pecan pie the other day, that was a disaster for his digestive system and my kitchen floor.

If that's a real diamond it's gotta be worth slot of loot... congrats on that find

Would be a nice pile of $$ if legit, not getting my hopes up, the cheap tester has proved pretty accurate so far and it didn't react at all .. Am pretty confident about 21 k though.

As promised, some more cute puppy shots.
He had an extra good time today, frolicking around like a goofy imbecile, every time I stopped to dig he would rush over to help. Also went out on the ice crust again and fell in, I had to haul him out by the scruff of the neck.

Managed to find a nice stainless ring, a crusty junker and a Susan B.
