I think I seen it in a video about the coin...it said there had been books and a movie made about it and it being confiscated...I could be wrong though

Are you perhaps thinking of "Saint-Gaudens: Masque of the Golden Bowl"? It's a movie about the life of Saint-Gaudens which, of course, covers his role in the design of that beautiful coin. The actors in the movie were:
