Few pieces this evening.
Out for an hour but gave up as the dog kept setting of the detector and was also digging huge holes.
So an 1861 silver threepence ( Queen Victoria )
2 X Musket balls.
Shell case from a Norma .243 bullet ( never heard of make or calibre ) .
Led button which i believe was sewn to the bottom of ladies skirts to weigh them down, these can date from post medieval to Victorian but this one looks in real good condition so likely Victorian.
And a nice nail, with a really sharp point still.
And apologies as i know its not metal but i did pick up another chunk of pottery which looks to be willow pattern.
Happy hunting guys.
