Default NOX 600/800 coil yoke washer replacement

I came across this on a Facebook post. It is for a 3D printer and requires TPU filament. A co-worker of mine is going to make up a few for me. Thought it was kind of interesting just thought I would post.

My co-worker brought in a few that he printed on his 3D. They seem to fit very well, I also make sure and try them while they were wet they seem to hold well. One of the pics below I have a flashlight in the bolt hole so it lights up washer and you can see how they fit.

Looks like the right amount of space, well done! If the coil ears bend inward or outward, that seams to cause ear fatigue and failure.

When it comes to the Equinox coils and a solid form of plastic washer. I have concerns.

I have concerns that the transfer of shock when the coil hits something will be greatly exaggerated with a solid washer as compared to a rubber washer.

We all know how the terrible the design of the ears are already. My 2 Pesos.
