Just got back from our yearly family beach trip, was nice to get back into detecting after not going out for so long! Brought the Deus and CTX. Found about $2-3 in clad in the rental house driveway which was gravel. Nothing spectacular but had one ALMOST! Was a nasty signal near the water line but having not found much beyond clad, scraps and peoples trash...why not! Dig EVERYTHING!

Any idea what these are?

Any idea what these scraps are? They were all over and very annoying. (Also a lot of those brass/copper large chunks pictured above) It's likely stuff dredged up when they re-sand the beach and gets chewed up before they deposit it on the beach. This is Bethany, DE. Just curious what they're from as they are all similar with those what look to be crimp marks, appear to be copper.

Those "almosts" still give me a thrill. If you can find them, that means you can find the real ones.... just gotta be lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time.

Here are a couple of my almosts...
