Can anyone give me any advice on settings for this detector. It is very noisy and the id bounces all over the place. It is new to me and I tried a setting for coin hunting I found on YouTube but not very happy with it. Thanks for any advice.

I wouldn't use youtubers adjustments. They may be good for their ground but not yours. I would first put it in Di3. Then try turning your sensitivity down. I BELIEVE it's set up like the F75 in that there is basically 3 sensitivity levels. 0-39 40-89 & 90-99. The difference is the amount of threshold in each of the three. Higher threshold levels will make smaller signals sound off hence more noise and jumpy numbers.

I would look up how to do s fsctory reset .. double check and see if you have the coil cable tight inside of the shaft .. if used check between the coil and cover

Make sure you are away from the house and power lines. It is very sensitive to EMI.

Impact is a great machine, do a factory reset just to clear the machine
