This week KT secured 7 useful NIFCs, still working on completing those rolls of NIFCs. And Box 4 contained an 87 Ken! First one this year. Box 5 gave up a 63 Bennie!

Slowly but surely CRH begins to pay off again! But keep in mind this is all the take from 5 boxes of halves...5000 coins looked at!

Camera not wanting to cooperate today but still got a representative pic of the 2 better coins...below!

Have a great week, everyone! :D:D

Awesome , it always amazes me that you have gotten Franklins in the mix ! Congrats !

KT likes em, no matter how tarnished they are! Old balding Ben is good!:laughing:

Congrats! That's a lotta coins to search through!

Royal Thanks, Huckleberry for your comment! Yep, been doing this for years and years, once a week until the Covid shut down The Royal Dump Bank, but they are opened back up now and they even handle the coins for KT! Takes some of the load off. All His Majesty has to do is get them to the entrance door and their security guard takes over from there!:lol:

KT living the dream! Congrats on all the booty!

Thanks, amc rulz! Since I know you used to be into CRHing in a heavy manner, your comment means a lot to Olde KingTotsalot! :D:D

A royal congrats on the non-bust week!

Thanks, JAK! Hope there are more of them to come! The way this hunt had gone into the middle of the last box, KT figured on another silver bust. So He was mightily surprised when that Ben just rolled outta the Royal Hand!:yes:

Congrats on the Benji there KT! What’s up with the 87 ken - key date?

5k coins sure puts a little perspective spin on it!

Congrats

Congrats on the great finds, KT! :woot:

Congrats

The original normal mintage for Kens annually was around 10 million coins per year, but for some reason, in 1987, the mint only made a little over 2 million for circulation. When collectors realized it they snapped them up and now they are as scarce as silver in circulation. In 1988, they went back to 10 million minted. In 2002, the mint decided to continue minting halves but not put them in circulation, but only make them available to coin dealers and buyers in $1000 bags. Thus starting the Not Intended For Circulation series of Kens...NIFCs.

And it is the old adage...Have to hunt a lot to find a lot! Ha ha.
