ROMAX headstamp?

Before the snow really started to fall I found a ROMAX headstamp and a Winchester Nublack headstamp. Never heard of the Romax. I also found a piece of what looks to be rock but it was setting detector off along with my pin pointer. Could it be a fragment of an old bullet?

1910's-1920's is the best guess I can give you at the time on the date. It was manufactured by the United States Cartridge Company and doesn't show up real often. If you look at the Web site in my signature, you will see it along with other US Cartridge Co. headstamps.
