One of the 3 wheaties I dug today turns out to be an Indian Head cent - 1882, pretty worn. I know for some of you this is no big deal as you dig them frequently - but out here they are extremely rare. In my 30 + years detecting this is about the 15th or so one I have dug. Steve in so az

An Indian is a great find as far as I'm concerned..I'm digging in some very old parks here in the Burgh but hardly ever turn up an Indian..it puzzels me?? Nice find and Congrats. If we could all hunt with GoesForever, we'd learn the big secret? That man is unreal..your catching up.

Well that is a nice Indian, just needs a scrub down.

My favorite coin.

Interesting that they are rare in your corner of the woods. I am up to 7 for this year.
