Whites DFX

Got mine last March, and really love the machine. Took some getting used to, but not all that bad. And thanks to a good friend here on this forum, he made the learning curve a lot easier.

Hoser, how do like your Bullseye II ? Does it really come in that handy? I thought of picking one up but I'm not sure that it's really that practical. Can you tell us how you like yours and if you'ld buy one again?
Thanks

China I really like the BE-II. About the only time I really use it a lot, is when I am in sand. Especially damp sand as it sticks to the target making it hard to locate sometimes. Yes, I would definately buy it again. It has save me a lot of time locating the target. I highly recommend getting one, or some form of electronic PP.

Not just you. I can't bring myself to get rid of my XLT. Still works great though the pinpoint switch is getting worn out now for the second time which shows how much it gets used.

Got my first detector last September, a DFX. I've enjoy learning to use it and had a pretty good season from September to the end of November when the snow came.

It takes time to learn the DFX, I'm still learning for sure, that is why I got it. There are three or four good books on using the DFX, the best being "Digging Deeper with the DFX" by Jeff Foster. So far in 2006 we have had a few weeks of unusually warm weather where I've started the year out with 3 Merc dimes and a hand full of clad. Looking forward to spring.
