What Was Your Grossest Find?

Digging in a park I hit a two inch insect pupa that started leaking white crud. The signal was a modern spoon
Oh, the playground of the school next door to me has them in droves! Every time I've gone there,. I've unearthed five or six of them. Cicada larvae. Now I dog there with a blunt edged plastic spade so I won't injure them. After finding, I just cover them back up and let them go back to sleep.

Lets see, someone already reported a condom (mine was used, not by me, and in my sand scoop); someone already reported finding a crack pipe (mine also at corner where woman in middle of intersection was being arrested. I never used); someone has already reported finding dental grillz (found a lot of them and sent to refinery); but no one has reported finding Cremation tags, 2 attached from this Dec. I find about 5-6 per season. Yea they went through a fire about 1850 deg and survived. The one from Columbus Ohio is very rare for 2 reasons; it doesn't have a hole at top and the ID number is printed on the back. When people drop ashs from the funeral urn into the Sea they also throw in the cremation tag, unknowningly. It is bad luck to keep so once I find them I document the find and return to Sea.
Not sure if it's possible, but can you tell the age of the tags? Have you ever tried to trace them back?
