What does everyone do for a living?

CNC machining. So basically, i'll walk into a store and halfway through be limping because a small metal shaving went into my foot...happens every time....

I retired from the Navy after 38 years and now work for a Defense Contractor telling young engineers why their great idea won't work in the real world fleet.

Union carpenter, mostly heavy construction but do quite a few different things, put this monster vinyl graphic up at Cobo Hall for the auto show a few days ago - Also had a 60 ft rubber duck on premises, not something you see every day.
Been booming lately but construction can be feast or famine so I have lots of side hustlers including CNC and dumpster diving.

Retired and tired!

Retired after 35 years as an electrical engineer with the local utility company. Spending my time metal detecting, renovating our house and taking care of 4 dogs.....oh, and keeping my wife happy.

For a many years I did all kinds of retail. But have done grape work (all you wine lovers) home health, cleaning (out on a barge in the middle of Seneca Lake), waitressing and ended up in a school lunchroom. Although no high paying jobs it definitely was an exciting ride, am now a lady of leisure...😊

Auto collision most of my life, retired as an instructor at a community college

Owner of Timberline Sporting Goods as of September 1st, 2021. I had my own electrical business before that, but my body says its time to quit the electrician stuff. Did it for 22 years and loved it.

11-1-22 I retired at 81 from my plumbing contractor/repairman career. I miss the professional/social interactions of my work-days and still help friends once in a while by sharing knowledge gained from my life. Today I keep busy heating my two-story home mostly with wood, maintaining said home, yard and small garden and when weather/temperatures allow, metal detecting.

Mostly I keep moving cause Friends, if Yer movin, Ya ain't dead!!!

Best wishes to you all,

CJ

I'm a residential electrician. I work on a lot of old houses, upgrading their knob and tube to modern wiring. It's more than a job though, its also a great way to get permissions lol.
