KT was very happy to welcome these 130 year old explorers through the Castle Gate today! They had been touring around for lo many years and finally settled to visit olde KingTotsalot! They bathed, and after their clothes were washed and dried, we sat in KT's Man Cave and discussed the world as they have come to understand it. When much younger, they did various deeds of daring and exploration, and now are finally ready to settle down to a more quiet circumstance, though they were getting quite a number of looks by the resident older Walkers in the Royal Castle! They were a bit flattered, but non-plussed as in their lifetime that had seen it all!:laughing:

KT asked them to stay on with us, and act as Royal Advisors in various matters of State and local situations. They were happy to oblige and have already had a tour of the inner workings of the Castle and met many of our inhabitants. They were happy to be situated in a two bedroom apartment in the Castle, close to both secular and Royal activities. KT invited them to our Annual Church Thanksgiving dinner tonight, but they just wanted to rest and go to bed early. Tomorrow, His Majesty will host a Royal Breakfast in their Honor!

Before they went off to their Chamber, The Royal Photographer got a nice group picture of them! Enjoy the photo!

Note the actual post indicates these coins came in the mail! KT has not metal detected since 2012! And the designation in the photo title..Not CRH. Indicates that these were not recovered by CRH methods.

Wow those are some older additions to the royal treasury eh? Are those 1892/3 90% silvers KT? Nice looking coins!
Yes sir, GroundSweeper. Other than some of the IHs in the Royal Treasury, these are the oldest halves in the Royal Collection. So many of these were minted, that their prices sometimes are very reasonable, kinda like 64 Kens! But it is nice to add something a bit different to the Royal Collection. KT bid on about 30 different pre-1950 commemorative halves and these were the only ones he won. But His Majesty does not mind, bidding, just like MDing, is a rather fun game of chance, will I get it, will someone out bid Me, just what will be the outcome?! :kingdances::kingdances: LOL

Ahhh yet again you have shown your compassion for wayward wanderers your highness. Tizz very admirable of you to allow foreign explorers through the gates of your kingdom. Well done sire.

lol. I thought it meant you were getting coin rolls in the mail. :) Your new acquisition still has a healthy helping of my admiration but less envy as a side dish...
