Nice job, Pull tab. I was just up in your area on vacation (didn't take the detector). I assume there's no detecting at the state park at Niagara Falls. Would be nice to hit that place. Also went to Lockport and saw the old locks there on the Erie Canal. I noticed that west of Lockport along the canal, the old towpath is abandoned. It had to be blasted out of rock there, c. 1820. I thought that would be a great place to detect, although grown up in trees and brush. Maybe in the late fall or wintertime? Doug

Yes, you are correct ,no Mding in the park. There is a ton of history here. Fort Niagara is 15 miles down the road but no MDing there either. The roads that lead there are good places though. I have found a few things in old fields along the way to the historic fort. Let me next time your around and we will do some searching.
