I left work yesterday with the plan of door knocking. I got a yes on my first attempt at a early 1920's home in town. At some point over the years the front yard had been filled because the older clad coins were 5-6" deep. I hit two '26 wheats, and a '30 wheat around 8" deep. I worked my way to the small back yard, and was surprised when I popped out a sterling Hickok buckle. No silver coinage this time out, but at least I left with some silver.

I found a Hickok buckle today at an old church permission. Sterling Silver. Nice to see "Made in the USA" on it.
