Can any of you identify what this may be? I am not sure what kind of metal it is for I can not bend it with my fingers. It has the same stamping on the other side. I found quite a ways down in an area that I just found my 1877 seated quarter and 1812 Canadian half penny token.

I'm going to make a wild guess and say it represents,K Company,1st Regiment. Might give you a starting point.

Do you have a country club near by. That reminds me of a ball mark repair tool. And it does have a C.C. on it. (Just a wild guess).

It is possible, I didn't know they made such a tool for fixing divots. Interesting. Problem is it doesn't have two "C"s. Here is a pic of the backside with the same stamp.

That's interesting. I can honestly say I've never seen one of these or would have a clue what it was.

Thank you! It had me puzzled until now.

WOW!! I have been at this for over 13 years, found THOUSANDS of items and had never heard of anything like that.
Maybe they did not use them in the Midwest??
