Some Kens at the Royal Gate this morning!

8 64 Kens were at the Royal Gate when KT arrived back at the Castle from Church Bell Practice today, and KT ushered them into the Castle's Great Hall, where they were properly introduced to His Majesty. Two were a bit grimy from their long journey but took a dip and cleaned up nicely! Anyway, these Kens have a mixed variety of skills, all useful to the Royal Castle, from tradesmen like plumbers, and electricians, to accountants and book keepers, so KT was able to offer them positions and ready them for work starting tomorrow. For now they are sleeping in a tube, having eaten a hearty meal served from the Royal Kitchen. My those men were hungry! They also partook of the Royal Dark Ale so should be sleeping well by now.

Yes, Sir hoser, besides their life skills, every Ben and Ken arriving at the Royal Castle also get a course in defending the Castle and the Royal Family, should the need ever arrive. Woe be to any scurvy blaggard that tries to cause problems in the Royal Household for he/she will be quickly rounded up and tossed into the Royal Dungeon where severe penalties may be exacted on them! Starting with a month of only bread and water while they hear the Royal Household enjoying Feasts from the Royal Kitchen daily!
