Another decent day. Recently all I've been doing is revisiting some of my prior left for dead locations. Today, I recovered a '57 GW, '49 Rosie and a beefy sterling bracelet and a few pieces of clad and some wheaties for good measure too.

So out of the past five days of hunting, I found silver in one form or another in four of those days. And all in the deeper range of about 8". Now my silver count is at 19 fty.

Also, the last photo are of these prior silver finds included. Thanks for checking out my latest thread! And Memorial Day weekend to everyone!

The last photo is a collective composite of these silvers too.

Congrats LNCB! Chunky necklace!
So you are finding the deeper items masked by previous shallow items?
Thanks metaladdict! I'm glad you asked, as I forgot to include those details. Yes, the quarter was masked with a nickel above it and the bracelet had a piece of canslaw off to the side of it. Many of these finds have been deeper with the new rig too. John

Nice group of silver John! Glad to see your getting out.

Steve
Thanks Steve! I've been on a hot streak as of lately. I hope we get some heavy rain soon as it is nearly impossible to dig in some of the locations I like to hit again. I had to leave behind some good questionable targets because of that. John

Congrats on the silver coins, John. :D
Thanks Garrett! I think one of the main reasons I've been finding these silvers is that they have been masked by other metals and that I'm just digging up more of these semi-questionable targets. If I hear a brief good sound to the target, I'm digging it up. Thanks again for checking the thread but most of all "Happy Graduation"🎓 to you! John

Your putting together a very nice year John. Congrats on adding the Silver's to your count and also the huge hunk of Sterling. Your putting some very respectable numbers on all phases in this hobby. Trapper
Thanks Trapper! So far this year has been somewhat rewarding especially recently. Its an extra thrill for me to find multiple silvers in a day. I was surprised I didn't chop up that sterling bracelet as to make it a two-for-one, one of a kind. I'm so glad I retrieved it as it displayed an odd number of 70 but it sounded good. Now all I need to do is to find silver #20 and the next one after that! Hoping we all can enjoy the long Memorial Day weekend and find some more of the goodies! John

Great variety of finds there LNCB. I have yet to find a bracelet of any kind. Glad you're able to put in the time for the hunts. We'd like to see some precip here too, the ground is dry and getting rock hard in places (and this is the Pac NW). Good luck on those future hunts.

Thanks RainorShine! Good to hear from you! Those bracelets are buggers to find. I have found a few mostly on thin side in chains. And when I find them, I usually will slice them into pieces as I go in for the kill with the shovel. But, this recent one I found surprisingly was all intact. And again, it is worth mentioning, I and others had probably been over that exact area many of times in the past. Thinking back now. it was probably disregarded because it gave a long footprint pattern and an odd high vdi number. Thanks again for your kind words of encouragement and may you find a precious metal bracelet soon! John
