Silver is Going Crazy!!

my opinion on physical silver has completely flip flopped over the past few months. If you want to buy it, there's a huge premium. If you want to sell it there's a huge discount. Price needs to go up at least 10% just to break even. Gold, on the other hand, has a very tight spread. Less than 1%. There aren't massive price swings like there is in silver, but there is more stability. I will never buy silver again.

Ignore all the short term noise. L-o-n-g term holders of physical gold and silver are going to do VERY well.

I agree with long term gold investors. Silver....... not so much. The market is manipulated from paper contracts to "short supply" headlines and videos. Let's go down the path of junk silver too. Remember all the videos a couple years ago about what a bargain junk silver was because it's lower premiums and shops were always buying it? All it took was the refiners to say, "nah we don't want it". Now you can't move 90% for even close to melt , let alone being stuck with 40%ers that nobody wants. All the crap spewed about "preserving your wealth", and "fiat currency the's worthless". Seems like those in the business of selling and buying silver sure do love that fiat currency doesn't it? Don't believe me? Pick your favorite silver shop YouTuber, listen to the redirect a couple years ago. Watch it back to back and see how well it ages.

There's a lot of people right now drowning in over paid for silver because of this videos and the surge up to 107.00 for a brief moment. The predictions of 150-170.00 per ounce on every channel that was slinging silver. I feel bad for those who bought in at 75.00 , let alone 95.00!!

With all that said, I applaud your commitment. I feel the same way regarding crypto. Particularly XRP.

999 is 999. Must be missing something. Cause if they dont want 999 buffalos u can just melt into a lump.
I swear I heard Tim from Yankee Stacking a few months ago say that the refiners were so backed up they weren't taking .999 buffalos so he wasn't buying them either. I could be off, but I believe his logic was if someone came in with multiple monster boxes and he didn't want to sit on all those ounces, he had no place to send them to recoup his cash for buying them.

Premiums go up and down according to demand. I do feel bad for those who FOMO and buy at the highs. Very important to control your emotions. I always loaded up when it's hated. Been in the silver game since 1985. My cost basis on my stash is $12-13. I backed up the truck during Covid when silver dumped to $12, right before the premiums took off. I sold a few hundred oz in January 2026 when Ag was just over $100, just to keep my emergency cash pad topped off.

Last time 90% premiums were very high was 2023. Premiums reached as high as 15-17% during that time.

Silver is fun, but volatile. I think it'll always be that way. Gold is more stable. I'm currently waiting for a stock market dump to pick up more gold. Will start buying more if/when it gets down to $3500.

Refiner backups were mainly for alloyed silver. It will not last forever. The huge price run up is what caused the back up. Normies were/are selling every piece of silver they have because they're broke. Demand will come back at some point. Gotta be patient.

The poor and middle class are being debased like crazy. Wages are not keeping up with the inflation. Some very bad times are coming. The majority of people out there have no clue. I'm convinced the middle class will not exist 10 years from now, possibly sooner.

I keep hearing this, yet a "value meal" at any fast food place is almost 20.00 because of wage increases. I watch any sporting event and every stadium, court, or field is full. I don't think the doom and gloom is as bad as everyone tries to make it out. Don't get me wrong..... I don't think it's great either . I personally feel both sides of the aisle sold this country out years ago and election cycles are second only to WWE promoting Wrestlemania. With all that said, financial manipulation is a thing and its taking place currently throughout every business sector.

You didn't say the magic word...

DEBT.

Totally agree that elections and politics (on both sides) are akin to the WWE.
