Just got my mail in and was so excited to see a package from my "Gift Partner", frankiefry!
Got a oh- so- cool, Detector Shirt in my fav color! How did you know Sharon? Oh, yeah. I told you my fav color!:laughing:
Also, got a Mercury Dime, which if any of you have been following my posts I have exactley......one. That was so nice of you to do that!:wow2: Now my lone merc has company! Gotta a '34 and a '44!

Are just a few of the PG things I said when I opened my gift exchanged gift from VEXHOLD. I am still stunned, amazed, happy, shocked, blown away etc at the thoughtfulness and GENEROSITY that Vexhold displayed when he sent this to me, and it has a light and holster!

I feel like a little kid that got EXACTLY what he wanted...

And by the way, I've questioned the difference in the PP and the V4, and let's just say I won't ever say another cross thing about the PP. After 5 mins of playing with my PP :laughing: I could tell that I'll never use another pinpointer.

My/Our gift from Patton : )

I just came home for lunch and found this package waiting for me. There was a little concern from Patton that I hadn't gotten it on Sat. but the mail finally came through! He's a pretty smart guy to think of something that Hubby and I can both use. The LED headlamp will get use inside and outside the house and the coin pouch is much needed because mine is about worn through. Thank you SO MUCH, Patton. This gift exchange idea was fun and I hope to participate again next year. : )

What a nice guy to do that!

I got a ballcap with 2 lights built into the bill. I like it alot better than the headlamp. Its nice and snug since its a hat. I dont know how long batteries are gonna last in it

Thats cool, I plan on participating this year 2012, I was to new to participate last year but plan on continuing to make new friends here. Im actually a type of guy who would have just send one of you a gift without expecting one in return. I owe alot of people gifts is how i look at it for the hundreds of things i received while deployed during my career. Looks like you had fun. congrats!!!

Great Gift. I got a very similar one and a cool 1964 Kennedy half necklace. I will post pics when I can. Congrats on a cool gift G4E.

Though it's been 43 years since I got back from Vietnam and left the Army, I'll never forget those days. My gift from Buster couldn't have been better. An Army money clip, an Army sticker, an Army magnetic piece, and an Army patch. I can only feel that he got the short end of the exchange.
