Congrats on the sweet half dime, tokens and relics Tom. Love the buckle. And for me a hunt never seems complete without a token or two and to find a rare one is just icing on the cake. Well done. MarkWent on a road trip with a hunting buddy last weekend. We each got some keepers. I got this token that ... as it turns out, is quite rare. According to the AZ token book "1 to 2 known" on the rarity scale. I guess that's changed to : "1 to 3 known" now, haha. And as you can see from this page out of the AZ token book, it's worth $900, as of the date of that book. Not bad
Also from the same site, this maverick token came up. That Simply has "E. B. 50 in MDSE" As if hand-stamped. And nothing on the reverse. Ordinarily a maverick token like this wouldn't be worth anything, yet : We noticed it had the same initials as the proprietor on the other one. HHhhhmmm
And this 1864 s half dime. This came out grey-ish dinge. But with some spit & tinfoil, and some Ezest dips, came out so-so OK.
My buddy found this awesome buckle. It is reminiscent of a type found in the CA gold-rush camps. Which often had military themes/motifs on them . Eg.: Eagles, anchors, etc... Yet weren't military. But based on the similarity of type and feel, we are assuming 1850-70-ish range. Anyone here got any info they can add about this ?
Other than that, some CW era eagle buttons, rivets, lantern parts, etc.... Fun fun !
Wow! I’ll assume some great research ended at this site. ....
Nice finds Tom, congratulations.
Good show! I like that buckle, tokens are awesome!

Wow, only two others known to exist! That's a totally different level of rarity! What a great find!
