One little button

This small button I dug today is one of the few I have found that is marked with a manufacturer's name. The backmark includes L & Hendrick, which I believe to be Leavenworth & Hendrick abbreviated because the button is too small to include the full name. If so, it looks like the date of manufacture is circa 1830's.

It's hard to tell from the pictures, but the size is quite a bit smaller than a dime.

That is a nice find. I hate it when things have no info on them. So much more fun to track it down. The loop on the back shows it's age also. Good going, Steve in so az
