October 19, 2017. I'm pretty new to the MDing...

I started in the fall of 2009 and only dug 1 Silver. That was a War Nickel and to this day its the only Silver I don't know where I dug it. Since then I have been blessed with some great adventures and to share many of them with some fantastic people in this hobby. Trapper

Thank you for your kind words. Without a doubt there are still sites out there but those are becoming harder and harder to locate. Over the years there has been several that I still hold with high regard. This year this site truly stands way above all the rest for obvious reasons. Trapper

Felt odd Jason in making this thread, just because I had not posted anything since the beginning of 2024. Had to figure out the pictures thing which I still have to work at. Finding out how rare a Twenty Center is but love that I have a coin Tom has not yet dug. He has quite a few I will never see. Anyway hope all is well with you and yours. Have a great holiday season. Well Mr. Digger I thank you for the WOW. The Twenty Center does rate that. I am just now learning how rare it is. It sure has made the recovery of the Morgan kinda disappear. Trapper

Appreciate your reply Jeff, thank you for the kind words. Got to kinda correct you though. The finds of this site covered 3 hunts on the parcel and the pile of Silver coins represent the whole years hunt. Its just one site that really put the wow into this thread. A matter of fact my Silver count at the beginning of September stood at 16. My fall was pretty good as I finished to year at 51 including this site. Happy for every Silver, just the really good stuff showed up on that location. Trapper

Not being modest Trevor, a whole lot of my success was the benefit of some very expert metal detectors. At least these guys are in my eyes. In one year there was four of us that reached at least 100 Silver coins. I honestly feel A lot of my success came from their efforts and drive. Trapper
