Found this pin some time ago in Arizona. I Have not
been able to find out any information and was wondering if
the experts here may have a clue. Pin measures 2.5" top to
bottom and 2.25" across the face. There is no writing
on the back and I have not tried to clean it up. Cheers, Mike

Ooh... how cool is that...!
I have no clue what it is, but it's pretty cool. Nice find!

Did some digging and found that the pin is connected to the Masons in that it is an old pin for the "Ancient Order of United Workmen". The C. H. & P. stand for Charity, Hope and Protection. Still trying to determine when this type was used. Seems to be one of the early ones. A search on the fraternity comes up with a fair bit of history for those interested. Thanks to U.P. Northwoods for the lead. Cheers, Mike

Did some digging and found that the pin is a fraternal pin (Thanks to U.P. Northwoods for the lead). It is a pin for the "Ancient Order of United Workmen" and the C.H.& P. stand for Charity, Hope & Protection. Also seems to be connected to the Masons as well. Still trying to determine when this pin may have been used as it looks to be an early version. There are more ornate ones out there. If you do a search on the fraternity there is a fair bit of history about them. Cheers, Mike
