I posted on another thread about a brooch I recently found at an old Oklahoma home site. The rock foundation is all that remains. I would think house would likely predate Oklahoma statehood which is 1907 when it was simply called Indian Territory. I only hunt about 2 hours. Really wanted to find a coin but do have plans on going back but it's an hour away. The axe head was pretty much a surface find. I like the horse bridle buckle cover with the heart on it, it's the second one I have found. The door handle/knob is interesting as is the door/drawer pull. Also found some bed/furniture springs as well as quite a bit of iron pieces. Ready to go back, really hoping for a coin with a date.
