OBN the bay you find all the gold ( ASSAWOMAN)- now killing people, not just in Florida , but Delaware - Maryland water's, since i will be moving down their , i thought the topic would be a good thing to discuss, I sure won't be rushing to get my boat fixed anytime soon  https://www.bing.com/videos/search?...D9A8031C1D9A08589ED1D9A8031C1D9A085&FORM=VIRE As this man died by pulling up his crab pot's , and got infected than died, Earl https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OpMAxYylIn4 The bad thing about this is not only you can contact it from getting water on your body , but by eating shell fish, crabs , clams, oysters , kind of scary as , I like them all  This is definitely a way i don't want to die, even getting a limb taken, is ugly . Bad news as I have a ( Chesapeake Bay Retreaver ) -that loves the water :( PS OBN instead of a dry suit, i might be looking for a waterproof HAZMAT suit howboutit http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/02/07/vibriosis-oysters_n_2617262.html

He has plenty money, as far as this thread , nobody wants to discuss it, but they know it's a real threat to us water hunter's, that guy that died in Assawoman bay could have been me, crabbing with traps, or the thousands of raw oyster's , and clams i have ate, they say it's all over in the US , a very serious threat in my book, happy safe hunting , Earl

Thanks for the concern buddy, that's kind of old news for me. I'm always very careful when going out, if I have a cut I crazy glue it (Or not go out) and the drysuit is just that, no contact, At All... with the water. When I get home the ski, me, and all my equipment get hosed down. So I feel very safe, I swear earl some of the stuff we dig up smells so bad I'm surprised anyone is allowed in the water at all with out some kind of protection. Be safe buddy and save me some of that OC gold....

It looks like i will be low tide hunting with the hip high waders, this changes the ball game, Earl PS You will be ok as long as you don't forget to zip up that dry suit before you get in the water :lol::detector: be safe later Joe
