found at the beach about 16" deep, about the same size as a 50 cent piece, pretty sure it has a aluminum top coat over a base metal. going to try an clean some more.

the other side is really bad shape.... looks like the fake cob,Guessed here first then ,someone on another forum posted a pic, side by side an , almost a dead match, thanks for everyone help,I guess I really never though of something like this, an we find alot of foriegn coins on these beaches.

What beaches are you speaking of? It may be one of those fake Cobs as others have said, but get it checked! Fun find anywho!!

Its probably his Minelab or his PI.. I have found rings deeper than 16 inches with my PI... beachhunting is a different animal than dirt digging..
