My first time helping

I'm going out tomorrow to look for a ring that was thrown out the car window. Any pointers for searching the side of the road? I'm pretty sure they're going to a lot of trash targets. We have narrowed it down to about 1/8 mile.

LOL, only thing I know, she got mad while they were going down the road and tossed the ring. Guy came to our Facebook page asking for help.

Good luck. I had a request to find a lost phone that mysteriously was lost on the roadway of a crime-ridden area. The requester could never give me a story as to how it was lost from their car. Sounded fishy so I refused.

And one time a mother asked me to look for a gold cross her son lost while jogging. NINE MILES! I had to explain how it could have flown 10 feet in either direction, times 9 miles. Plus all the trash I’d have to Wade through. The only 2 times I ever refused anybody who had lost an item.

I found a wedding ring this summer that an angry bride had tossed three years earlier.
Set the sensitivity very low as I assumed it wasn't deep.

And it was just an inch down.
