My first GAR find

Last Sunday was my first serious hunt in a loooong time. I called up an old buddy that has an old schoolhouse/ meeting site in his cattle pasture. Permission was granted and I was off.
I decided to take the CTX hands down my favorite detector. Many cool finds from coins to watch fobs and old tokens have been found here. I pulled in and parked, grabbed my gear hopped the creek. Fired the CTX up took about 3 steps and got a signal. This was the result at about 8”.

Super happy with this find also found a 188? IHP and the remains of a pocket knife. My buddy drove his ranger out and we ended up talking for close to an hour, so my detecting time was cut short.
