Musket ball

Found a musket ball and in the hole with it is a piece of an iron rod. At one end of the rod it looks round with a tip.

I also found a mini ball as well.

What are your thoughts.

That possibly could have been shot with the ram rod still in it.

Hahaha I’m sure in the heat of battle back then, sometimes you just said £#%> it and shot with the rod in there.
