Modern bullet and pancake musket ball?

Found these while out and about today. The bullet looks modern to me but the way it has turned white is throwing me off a little. Is that normal? I have found other bullets before but never one that has turned white.

Now the pancaked looking musket ball. It’s smaller than all the other musket balls I have found so I am wondering if this was some type of Buck shot from a musket?

Also found some old molten metal close by as well, does that mean anything to y’all? Thanks for the help.
